Coming Next to The Feminist Lens! “Seeing Peace”…

February 14th, 2011 by admin

Egypt!
The people have spoken, a new era has begun.
The world is awake and listening.

The promise of this peaceful movement asks us to challenge
the assertion that armed conflict is necessary to create change.
The ramifications of conflict, the power of peaceful solutions,
and the historical role women play, are the subject of
Seeing Peace: Challenging War, our radio show for
Women’s History Month.

Join Feminist Lens Host Marilyn Campbell and contributors from the worlds of music, poetry film and the written word, whose work demands a new perspective on creating a world without war. Segments will include original music, poetry readings and audio from films. Airs Sat, March 26 on WFMT Fine Arts Radio, 6:30 PM
Central time. Streaming online: wfmt.com
WMG Podcast Mar 27 on this site wmgchicago.com
